Our uniquely qualified instructors teach the most sound, proven and innovative practices in the tactical medical and security field. The team is entirely composed of Special Forces combat veterans with expertise and knowledge that has been verified both on and off the battlefield. Between our medical, communications, intelligence and security experts, we have over 100 years of combined experience.

Meet Our Team

Dr. Roy Bassett

Dr. Roy Basset serves as D-DEY’s Medical Director. The respect he has earned from each member of D-DEY outside this company as the Florida National Guard’s State Surgeon, made him our first choice as Medical Director. We are honored and privileged to have him on board.

Don

A 26 year veteran and recently retired Special Forces weapons Sergeant, medic and team leader, Don has also been a firefighter/paramedic for 14 years. As a Rescue Lieutenant for Palm Beach County, he is constantly on the forefront of emergency medicine. His passion for teaching preparedness to others is the backbone of this company.

Jimmy

With over 20 years of Special Forces experience in both communications and intelligence operations, Jimmy has built a reputation of excellence in the private contracting world, excelling in executive protection and security.

Alex

A retired Special Forces medic and currently serves Miami-Dade county as a firefighter/ paramedic. We depend on Alex’s depth of knowledge and passion for trauma medicine, which is the basis of his new venture, AMarcs Med-Tac. We are fortunate to have him as an adjunct instructor.

Nick

A true American hero, Nick has served our country for over 20 years in Special Forces. During his service he has been awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. His constant deployments have kept him in harm’s way and is the only Instructor whose own life has been saved with the skills he teaches. He is currently the founder of 360 Security Solutions in New York.

Tom

While maintaining one of the most challenging positions on an ODA as team medic, Tom decided he wanted more. In 2000, he became a Physician’s Assistant and began deploying to Africa, the Middle East and South America. Currently active in the National Guard, Tom also works as a civilian PA, specializing in emergency and family medicine.
